Minimum Qualifications

• Five years work experience in the music industry
• Two years work experience in digital marketing
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Understand the nuances of working with both established and developing artist teams
• Experience leading small teams to set and achieve goals
• Friendly, enthusiastic, and easy to get along with  
• Excited about working in a startup culture
• Background in artist management

About the Job

Venture’s marketing clients are typically assigned three collaborators within our team - an account manager, a media coordinator, and a creative coordinator. Over the years we’ve learned this trio of collaborators provides our music clients with a marketing team that’s both effective and dynamic.

As an account manager, your job is to be the main point of contact between our clients and the rest of our team. This job will require you to be knowledgeable to some degree about virtually every aspect of the music marketing landscape online. You’ll need the ability to think outside the box - coming up with creative strategies specific to each client - while maintaining a realistic view of what’s possible within the scope of what you can control.
